For now, Spryte is only available as a Windows download. However, if you are looking for a Linux or Mac
alternative, instructions are provided for other platforms:

linux
You can refer to the
Shoebot
website for Linux installation instructions.
You can install Geany,
or use the IDE included with Shoebot (or any other Python IDE of your preference) to write your code.
Once Shoebot has been installed, scripts can also be executed from the terminal.
mac
You can refer to the
Shoebot
website for Linux installation instructions.
NodeBox
and
DrawBot
are also excellent alternatives to Spryte and Shoebot. They are available for the Mac platform only,
and offer (near) complete support for Spryte code.
